We have a monthly newsletter for our members which you can also subscribe to here. The newsletter brings you the latest news and opportunities for our sector and the network.
You can unsubscirbe from it at any time.

This Privacy Notice sets out how we will collect and process your data.

We will only collect your data from the following:

When you register with this site in order to be able to access the restricted content or use the Contact Us form on this website.
Our sign-up to our mailing list form, which you will receive after you join this website as a member.
Eventbrite, when you register for one of our events
Mailing list sign-up forms which we take to events.
We collect web usage statistics using Google Analytics, but these are anonymised before being shared with Google so no personally identifying data is transferred.

What data do we collect?

We store names, email addresses and institution details that you give us.

How we use the data we collect from you

We will not share your data with anyone outside of the Space Universities Network.
We will only add you to our mailing list if you have given your consent for us to do so.
We will use our mailing list to keep you informed about our news, events and funding opportunities and sometimes about other events and opportunities you might find interesting.
We may contact you about our events you have signed up to on Eventbrite.

Record retention

We will keep your contact details on our mailing list until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

You have a right to withdraw your consent to be on our mailing list at any time by completing the unsubscribe from mailing list form or emailing
if you want your user details to be removed from the site, please contact us - you will no longer be able to access any restricted materials on the site once your account is cancelled.
You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected. Please let us know if your data is inaccurate by emailing

The Space Universities Network (SUN) is committed to equality of opportunity for all users, including those with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. We are endeavouring to improve the digital accessibility of our workshops, resources and website (aiming to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA), we would be grateful if you can be patient with us whilst we do this. 

At SUN we provide a range of resources in PDF format which are keyboard navigable to those using a screen reader. We also provide resources in video format and are working on providing closed captions and /or transcripts for these.
